Aftermarket Assassins Heavy Duty Primary Clutch | 2020-Up RZR Pro XP/Turbo R 

 

Compatible with 2020 and newer RZR Pro XP/Turbo R models - designed for customers who already possess our secondary spring and/or helix. From off-road trail rigs to high-powered setups, our shop exclusively relies on this clutch for superior performance. It is suitable for use on both stock vehicles and our robust 330 cranks HP big turbo configuration.

Included in this comprehensive kit is our complete AA heavy-duty primary clutch. This clutch boasts the same design as the 2016-2020 RZR Turbo models, featuring an enclosed tower design. Our extensive testing has demonstrated that this clutch excels in power retention, durability (eliminating any risk of explosion), and minimized belt slippage. It effectively meets the demands of high-horsepower vehicles and has garnered a proven track record. Moreover, this clutch exhibits superior belt grip, particularly at higher RPMs, surpassing the performance of billet clutches.

A primary clutch variant is a proprietary iteration, constructed using premium-grade tool steel for the post, and assembled with AA HD sliders in accordance with our meticulous AA specifications. With this clutch, you'll experience enhanced power transfer (resulting in improved acceleration) and lower belt temperatures compared to your OEM P90X clutch or alternative aftermarket clutches.

The kit includes the AA Primary Clutch, Primary Bolt, AA Recoil magnetic adjustable clutch weights, primary spring, and customized primary spring limiter, and now incorporates AA Extreme Heavy Duty primary sliders (pre-installed on the clutch). Please be aware that the primary clutch requires assembly. You can set up the weights according to our setup chart and then install the weights and spring. Alternatively, we offer a +$25 option for us to assemble the primary clutch on your behalf, provided you furnish us with information about your engine modifications and tire specifications.

This offering is intended for those who already possess our AA clutch kit and seek to upgrade their primary clutch. If you're interested in acquiring both the clutch and secondary components, please note that such a kit is listed separately. It is imperative to use this clutch with an AA secondary spring (or an AA spring coupled with an AA helix).

DISCLAIMER/SPECIAL NOTES REGARDING THIS CLUTCH:
- This clutch emits a louder sound at idle due to the loose spider/slider tolerance, which normalizes as engine RPM increases.
- The clutch might make slight contact with the plastic at idle, resulting in minor wear marks (a very rare occurrence, mostly attributed to cover variances).
- The primary bolt features a shortened head to accommodate the cover. Exercise caution during tightening, using an 18mm 6-point socket.
- When disassembling the clutch, the 6 spring cover button head Allen bolts can easily strip if an incorrect size (or standard) is used; they are 4mm.

To remove your OEM clutch, a P90X clutch puller is necessary. The AA clutch uses the standard XPT/XP1000 primary clutch puller.
