Aftermarket Assassins Clutch Rebuild Kit | 2016+ RZR Turbo RS1 Extreme HD

 

This clutch kit is designed for specific models of Polaris RZR and RS1 vehicles. It fits the 2017-2020 RZR Turbo, Turbo S, and 2018-2022 RS1 models. Additionally, it can be used with 2016 models if you upgrade to their helix (helix buttons are the only difference).

However, please note that this kit does not fit 2021 turbo models, as they use a different clutch setup. It is important to verify compatibility with your specific vehicle model before making a purchase.

The primary purpose of this kit is to replace all the plastic wearable items in your primary and secondary clutch. These wearable items, such as primary sliders and helix buttons, are recommended to be replaced every 1500-2500 miles, depending on usage, dust conditions, and maintenance habits.

The kit includes 3 AA Extreme HD primary sliders, 3 secondary sliders, and 3 AA Extreme HD 2017+ style helix buttons. The primary sliders feature a custom-molded design with a thicker bridge to add strength, addressing a known issue with the thinner bridge OEM sliders that are prone to breaking. The sliders also have anti-friction ridges on the sliding surface, which help decrease clutch and belt temperatures and improve clutch actuation under load.

Similarly, the custom molded AA helix buttons are designed with improved strength compared to the factory parts, as they are infused with Teflon for added lubricity. The factory parts are prone to breaking due to voids in the molding process. It is essential to break in the buttons properly, and the kit provides instructions on how to do so to avoid issues with engagement, performance, or premature clutch wear.

If your vehicle has a worn-out or sticking primary clutch bearing causing the clutch to spin quickly at idle, even when properly aligned, the kit also offers a replacement primary clutch center idler bearing (part number 108-1045).

For those with OEM stainless slider savers, the kit provides the option to replace them if they are worn, grooved, or damaged due to a slider breaking.
